Quante — Poker Tracker & AI Training Companion

Last updated: September 1, 2026

Quante is designed with a local-first approach. Most of your poker records remain on your device. Certain optional features, including AI-powered features, purchases, and server-based functionality, require limited data to be processed on our servers or by service providers.

1. Data stored locally on your device

Quante is built around a local-first model. Your normal poker records are stored locally on your device, including:

  • Cash games and sessions
  • Bankroll records
  • Saved hands
  • Player profiles and notes
  • App preferences and display settings

We do not upload these records to our servers unless you explicitly use a feature that requires server processing, such as AI-powered training or another server-based feature described in this policy.

Deleting the app or using Quante's local data-erasure tools removes locally stored Quante data from your device.

2. Information we collect

Quante is designed to collect as little information as reasonably necessary. Depending on the features you use, we may process the information described below.

Purchases, subscriptions and AI Training Credits.

Quante offers optional Quante Pro subscriptions and consumable AI Training Credits through Apple's App Store.

Apple processes your payment information. We do not receive or store your payment-card number, bank-account information, or Apple ID password.

To validate purchases, subscriptions, restore eligible entitlements, prevent duplicate credit grants, and maintain AI Training Credit balances, we may receive and store information associated with App Store transactions, including:

  • Transaction identifiers
  • Original transaction identifiers
  • Product identifiers
  • Purchase dates
  • Subscription status
  • Apple-signed transaction information

We use this information only to operate purchases, subscriptions, entitlement recovery, AI Training Credits, fraud prevention, customer support, and related accounting or legal obligations.

AI Battle Training and other AI features.

When you choose to use an AI-powered feature, information required to provide that feature may be transmitted to our servers and to third-party AI model providers.

Depending on the feature, this may include:

  • Community cards and table state
  • Betting and action history
  • Stack sizes and pot information
  • Player positions
  • Relevant hole cards
  • AI-generated decisions, explanations, and strategy information

For AI Battle Training, each AI opponent receives only the game information necessary to make its decision. An opponent's model is not provided with another player's private hole cards unless those cards have become part of the public game state.

AI requests do not intentionally include your name, email address, Apple ID, payment information, or advertising identifier.

You may choose not to use AI-powered features. Features that require AI processing cannot operate without transmitting the information necessary to provide that feature.

AI training history and server-based gameplay.

AI training hands may be stored on our servers so that training sessions can be resumed, reviewed, analyzed, and associated with the appropriate AI Training Credit balance.

Stored training information may include cards, actions, table state, AI decisions, and related gameplay information.

This server-based gameplay information is separate from your normal locally stored cash-game journal and bankroll records.

Product usage information.

We may collect limited product-usage information to understand whether important features work correctly and to diagnose problems.

Examples may include:

  • App version
  • Operating-system version
  • Device model
  • Language or region
  • Feature interactions such as opening a paywall or completing a purchase
  • A randomly generated installation identifier

This identifier is not Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

We use this information for product analytics, reliability, purchase troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and improving Quante.

We do not attempt to associate this information with your real-world identity unless necessary to respond to a request you make, recover an entitlement, or prevent abuse.

Optional email address.

You may optionally provide an email address in Quante. We may use that email address to:

  • Help identify your Quante purchase or entitlement when you contact support
  • Help recover eligible server-side entitlements or AI Training Credits
  • Respond to your support requests

Providing an email address is optional.

We do not use your email address for advertising or marketing unless we separately ask for and receive your consent.

You may remove the email address from Quante where that option is available or contact us to request deletion.

Feedback and support.

If you voluntarily contact us or submit feedback, we may receive:

  • The message you send
  • Contact information you choose to provide
  • App version
  • Operating-system version
  • Device model
  • Language or region
  • Other information you voluntarily include

We use this information only to provide support, investigate problems, and improve Quante.

Exchange rates.

When Quante retrieves exchange-rate information, the app may send information necessary to retrieve the requested rate, such as the requested date or currency.

Your poker journal and bankroll records are not sent as part of an exchange-rate request.

3. How we use information

We use collected information only for purposes related to operating Quante, including:

  • Providing requested app functionality
  • Operating AI-powered features
  • Validating App Store purchases
  • Maintaining subscriptions and AI Training Credit balances
  • Restoring eligible entitlements
  • Preventing fraud, abuse, and duplicate credit grants
  • Providing customer support
  • Troubleshooting errors and failed purchases
  • Understanding and improving product functionality
  • Meeting applicable legal, accounting, and regulatory requirements

We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

4. Third-party service providers

We may disclose limited information to service providers where necessary to operate Quante.

These providers may include:

  • Apple — App Store purchases, subscriptions, and transaction verification
  • AI model providers — generating AI decisions, explanations, and other AI-powered functionality. Current providers may include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Alibaba Cloud, DeepSeek, Zhipu AI, and Moonshot AI.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — operating Quante's servers and APIs

Service providers receive only information reasonably necessary to provide their respective services.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or data-broker purposes.

5. Tracking and advertising

Quante does not:

  • Display third-party advertising
  • Use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA)
  • Track you across apps or websites owned by other companies
  • Sell personal information to data brokers
  • Use collected information for behavioral advertising

Third-party AI processing required to provide an AI feature is not used by Quante for advertising or cross-app tracking.

6. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Local poker records remain on your device until you delete them.

Server-side information may be retained according to the following criteria:

  • Purchase and entitlement information — for as long as necessary to validate purchases, maintain entitlements and credits, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable accounting or legal obligations
  • AI training and server gameplay data — for as long as needed to provide training history, replay, analysis, synchronization, or related functionality, or until deletion is requested where applicable
  • Product-usage information — only for as long as reasonably necessary for analytics, reliability, and troubleshooting
  • Support and feedback information — for as long as necessary to resolve the request and maintain reasonable support records
  • Optional email address — until you remove it or request deletion, unless retention is required for another lawful reason

When information is no longer required, we delete it or de-identify it where reasonably practicable.

7. Deleting your data and withdrawing consent

You can delete locally stored Quante data using the data-management controls provided in the app or by deleting the app.

For information stored on our servers, you may contact us to request access or deletion.

You may stop using optional features that require server or third-party processing at any time.

If Quante provides a privacy control for withdrawing permission for a particular optional feature, you may also use that control.

Certain transaction, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, or legal records may need to be retained even after a deletion request.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by Quante.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. International data processing

Quante's service providers and infrastructure may process information in countries or regions other than the one in which you live.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal information.

10. Children

Quante is not designed for or directed to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to Quante, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:

  • Request access to information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Request data portability where applicable
  • Lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority

We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.

We do not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Quante's features, data practices, service providers, or legal requirements change.

When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide notice within Quante.
